Living with Dignity

To create awareness about Right to Information Act, 2005 and to study its impact on the life of poor and deprived within the geographical area of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Haryana, a one year RTI campaign at grass root level was carried out. The campaign was twofold. On the one hand, it aimed at action at grass root level, while simultaneously there was extensive research and documentation of RTI experiments in villages. The campaign was carried out in three states namely, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Haryana (5 selected villages of one district in each state, in total the campaign was carried out in 15 villages).
