Governing Body

As per the requirements of Indian Societies Act, there is a General Body of members of Kabir, which consists of 15 members. This body normally meets once a year at Annual General Body Meeting unless there is some emergency.

Out of the General Body, a Governing Body consisting of 7 members is elected every year, to provide overall direction to Kabir. This includes President, Secretary, Treasurer and four Executive members who meet monthly with the management team. The current members of the Governing Body are as follows:

Mr. Raman Duggal is the President of Kabir. Mr. Duggal is lawyer on the Delhi High Court.

Dr. Raghu Shankar Gupta is the Secretary of Kabir. Dr. Gupta is a medical doctor in private practice.

Mr. Pabitro Roy Chaudhary is the Treasurer of Kabir and also functions as Kabir's financial officer. Mr. Roy is a chartered accountant who works as consultant for a number of private firms in Delhi .

Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is an Executive member of Kabir. Mr. Kejriwal is a well known Magasasay Award winner social activist.

Ms. Amita Joshi is an Executive Member of Kabir. Ms. Joshi is a social worker who works with the NGO ISST in Delhi .

Ms. Madhu Sahni is an Executive Member of Kabir. Ms. Sahni is an Assistant Producer of Zee News.

Mr. Rishi Kumar Sharma is an Executive Member of Kabir. Mr. Sharma is school teacher in Delhi . He is also a known Radio Presenter with All India Radio.
