Fight for your Rights Campaign

A weekly program on Right to Information was started in May 2008 wherein those instances were taken up where people were fed up with the working of government but Right to Information helped them get their work done in no time. The program was named “Fight for your Rights.” This program created awareness in people to file RTI applications and ask the government authorities about their pending work. MCD officers and police officials were also questioned on the show. Every episode was exclusive in itself and a lot of people followed the program. The fact that people watched the program could be tracked from the fact that around 1000 calls were attended every month on the helpline number which was flashed during the show.
