Daily Life Assistance Campaign

A major awareness campaign on Right to Information was launched in conjunction with the Daily Life Assistance (DLA) Newspaper, the RWA Federation Ghaziabad, the Law Department of Mewar College and Kabir. A week long RTI campaign (9th March 2008 - 16th March 2008) was aimed at promoting awareness and active use of RTI Act in addressing individual, local, and development related issues with day to day governance and policies. RTI booths were set up at various centers throughout Ghaziabad to inform more and more people about RTI. Thousands of people were provided assistance related to filing RTI application or query related to this Act.
